Are you a project manager? Would you like to develop a more robust approach to managing your projects?

This in person course is a fantastic opportunity, specifically tailored to the voluntary sector. It is for new and existing voluntary sector project and programme managers who want to gain new tools and techniques to help them successfully manage their projects.

This training will take place in person, you must be free to attend both days. A light lunch will be provided.

Course fees: £80 for Hertfordshire VCSE organisation staff or volunteer or £160 for Hertfordshire private and statutory organisations staff or volunteer. Please note, only two attendees per organisation permitted, you can add additional people to our waitlist.

Learning outcomes

About your trainer

Tom Burke

Tom Burke is a freelance consultant working across the voluntary sector in the UK and in the development sector. He has an extensive history of personal, professional and voluntary work in charities in the UK, primarily in the children and youth sector. He has personally managed large-scale European Union and UK Government funded programmes and projects and advised trusts and foundations on the due diligence of applicants for project funding. Prince2 qualified, Tom has regularly led project management training and support to voluntary organisations and designed the first accredited project management training for the youth sector.

If you are unable to attend this course please contact [email protected] with at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel your place. HCF Training & Development reserves the right to keep the course fee and issue an additional fee in the case of non-attendance of this course without proper notice. Within the 72 hour notice period your course place may be transferred to another eligible individual from your organisation, but not transferred to another course.
