Learn the main principles and key responsibilities of safeguarding adults at risk

This online course is for new staff and volunteers working in a voluntary sector social care environment who have not attended safeguarding adults course yet. It is also relevant to those who haven't attended this course in the past 2 years and need a refresher.

Course fees: £15 for VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) organisations in Hertfordshire, or £35 for non-VCSE organisations with charitable aims in Hertfordshire.

  • Learn the main principles of safeguarding adults and the key responsibilities of individuals that work with adults at risk, or their families.

  • The Care Act 2014 & the HCC multi-agency policy and procedures.

  • Learn who to talk to and what to do if you have concerns

Sonia Clarke

Sonia has delivered Safeguarding Adults at Risk training for HCF for over 8 years, also working closely with Hertfordshire County Council trainers to deliver Safeguarding for Managers, and with other local organisations to create bespoke packages to meet their Safeguarding needs. She has also worked with HCF delivering Safeguarding for Trustees as part of the Better Boards programme , and consulted with organisations in order to improve their Policies and procedures in this area.

HCF Training & Development reserves the right to keep the course fee and issue an additional fee in the case of non-attendance of this course without proper notice. Within the 48 hour notice period your course place may be transferred to another eligible individual from your organisation , but not transferred to another course.
