Qualify to be an emergency first aider in your workplace

The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is designed for organisations who are seeking a qualification in First Aid. Employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training.

Course fees: £45 for Hertfordshire VCSE organisation staff or volunteers or £90 for Hertfordshire private and statutory organisation staff or volunteers. Please note, only two attendees per organisation are permitted but you can add additional people to our waitlist.

  • Learn about minor cuts right up to CPR and defibrillation.

  • Learn the roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider.

  • Learn how to assess an incident and manage an unresponsive casualty.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the this course you will:

  • Gain a QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at work valid for 3 years, this course is accredited by an Ofqual regulated Awarding organisation.

  • Understand how to manage a situation and the roles and responsibilities of a first aider.

  • Know how to perform CPR, use a defibrillator, manage an unresponsive casualty and manage other issues such as choking.

HCF Training & Development reserves the right to keep the course fee and issue an additional fee in the case of non-attendance of this course without proper notice. Within the 72 hour notice period your course place may be transferred to another eligible individual from your organisation, but not transferred to another course.

Paul is a Health and Safety Consultant with a wealth of experience and knowledge to deliver not only Health and Safety services but also a wide range of training courses. Paul has NEBOSH certificates in Health & Safety, Construction Health & Safety and Fire Safety & Risk Management as well as level4 PTLL's. The training courses offered are all delivered with passion and a high level of knowledge.

Pricing options

£45 for staff or volunteers from a Hertfordshire VCSE organisation. £90 for non-VCSE organisations, must be based in Hertfordshire and have charitable aims.
