Inspirational course on how to write more successful funding applications

This practical course is for those who have had some experience of writing funding applications and/ or have attended a beginners course in writing funding applications.

Course fees: £20 for staff or volunteers from a Hertfordshire Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisation. £40 for non-VCSE organisations, must be based in Hertfordshire and have charitable aims.

  • This course will look at what makes a successful application, including the main pitfalls to avoid.

  • You’ll learn what to include in each of the 6 key sections within funding applications, and what funders are looking for.

  • Opportunity to complete a model application form for your project/ organisation.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Describe the key characteristics of strong applications

  • Understand how to avoid the common reasons for rejection

  • Know about further sources of support

HCF Training & Development reserves the right to keep the course fee and issue an additional fee in the case of non-attendance of this course without proper notice. Within the 72 hour notice period your course place may be transferred to another eligible individual from your organisation, but not transferred to another course.
