Self funded training available to organisations in the voluntary sector, within or beyond Hertfordshire

Safeguarding adults at risk

We have been running safeguarding adults at risk training for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations since 2014.

We offer three types of safeguarding courses, and all can be run in-person or online, depending on your requirements. All courses are delivered interactively, with pre and post course exercises and materials provided. All participants on a Level 1 or Designated Person course will receive a certificate of attendance.

Training programme 2023-24

All courses on the training programme are available self-funded.

We deliver over 40 unique courses as part of our training programme, aimed at VCSE organisations. We offer courses in the following areas; safeguarding, operating safely, fundraising & finance, marketing & social media, management & leadership and governance. Your chosen course will be delivered with your organisational needs in mind.

“Thank you for arranging for Sonia to present Safeguarding for Trustees yesterday evening. It was an excellent and thought provoking session. A lot of discussion between the trustees after Sonia left and will continue at their next meeting in December.”

Doreen Goodall, CanalAbility

“The training workshop was very good and Kim was an excellent trainer.”

Ian Richardson, Community Alliance Broxbourne & East Herts
