Level 5 Sustainable Business Manager

For managers and leaders charged with implementing organisational sustainability strategy.

You will explore best practice when incorporating sustainable solutions and examine communication tools and techniques to enhance personal effectiveness and accelerate organisational change. The course will cover financial and business case development, green-teaming, legislation compliance, off-setting – what is effective change and what are the commercial implications and opportunities for the organisaton.
  • Apply and critically evaluate relevance of leadership and management theory in the context of Net Zero challenges.

  • Critically reflect on the strategic and practical nature of organisations in order to implement current strategy.

  • Explore the execution of a Net Zero strategy in the context of organisational leadership, strategy, people management and change.

Eligibility and course fee

Bursaries are only available to voluntary sector organisations (charities, CICs, CIOs etc.) operating in Hertfordshire. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please contact [email protected]

Organisations will pay a contribution towards the cost of the course. The contribution fee is based on your organisation's income as declared in your annual report as follows:

£100,000 - £500,000 £100
Over £500,000 £150

To apply for a bursary place on the next cohort please complete the application form and return by email to [email protected].  There are normally three cohorts per year and dates for upcoming cohorts will be shared on our website as soon as they are confirmed. 

If you are eligible for a Green Herts bursary the HCF T&D team will pass your application on to ESTU Global, who will then contact you directly to discuss your suitability for the course and their funding requirements.
