This bootcamp is tailored for managers, senior managers and directors working in Hertfordshire charities, social enterprises and community organisations who are ready to take the lead on sustainability. You’ll gain the skills to embed net‑zero goals into your strategy, inspire colleagues and stakeholders to embrace change and confidently navigate carbon reporting, risk assessment and ESG communication. No prior sustainability qualifications are needed—just your commitment to forging a greener future.

    Develop the skills to lead sustainable initiatives, manager transitions and influence key stakeholders.

    Learn how to produce SECR‑compliant reports, tell powerful sustainability stories and secure buy‑in.

Eligibility and course fee

The Green Herts – HCF Sustainability Fund is for the benefit of people living in the county of Hertfordshire. 

This programme is funded by a range of donors who’s passion is to improve sustainability at Hertfordshires charitable organisations.  

Who is eligible to apply for a bursary? 

  • Organisations must deliver services in Hertfordshire and be one of the following: Registered charity, company with charitable status, social enterprise, or a constituted voluntary/ community group. 
  • Organisations must directly deliver services that protect people who use care & support services, or preserve or advance physical or mental health, or promote independence and social inclusion, or improve opportunities and life chances. 

Bursaries are only available to voluntary sector organisations (charities, CICs, CIOs etc.) operating in Hertfordshire. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please contact [email protected]

Organisations will pay a contribution towards the cost of the course. The contribution fee is based on your organisation's income as declared in your annual report as follows:
