Course outcomes:

  • An insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training

  • How to plan and deliver inclusive teaching/ training sessions

  • How to assess and give constructive and developmental feedback

Oaklands College, St Albans campus, AL4 0JA

Compulsory assessment and orientation day: Tuesday 11 February 2025, 9.30am-11.30am.

Course dates: 10 weekly sessions from 25 February - 20 May 2025 (there will be no sessions during the Easter school holidays).

Tuesdays: 9.30am - 1.30pm

Organisations will pay a contribution towards the cost of the course which is subsidised by Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services for organisations that provide adult social care. 

Once eligibility for funding is confirmed, applicants will need to complete an enrolment form for Oaklands College. Payment will be required before the course starts. This course is subsidised for tutors delivering training in Hertfordshire for organisations that provide adult social care. 

The contribution fee is based on your organisation's income as declared in your annual report as follows:
