This online session is for anyone who wants to be “seen” at work and will introduce you to ways to improve collaboration, learn how to inspire others and be recognised.

We are offering this course fully funded to staff and volunteers from Hertfordshire's voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.

  • Learn the four types of communication styles.

  • Understand the impact of self-confidence on communication.

  • Learn how to develop a more assertive communication style.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the this course you will be able to:

  • Have an increased awareness of personal communication style

  • Use spoken language assertively

  • Use body language assertively

If you are unable to attend this course please contact [email protected] with at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel your place. HCF Training & Development reserves the right to issue a fee in the case of non-attendance of this course without proper notice. Within the 48 hour notice period your course place may be transferred to another eligible individual from your organisation, but not transferred to another course.

Moreen is a training consultant specialising in assertive communication, inclusive leadership behaviours and safeguarding adults at risk training. She has lived/worked in Hertfordshire for over 25 years and has a deep professional interest in the performance of its voluntary and community sector.
