What is legacy fundraising and how to develop your own legacy fundraising programme

This session is for those who are considering setting up a legacy fundraising programme for their organisation.

We are offering this course fully funded to staff and volunteers from Hertfordshire's voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations.

  • Understand what legacy fundraising is.

  • Know how to prepare a simple campaign.

  • Understand about donor engagement and relationship building.

By the end of the this course you will be able to:

  • Explain what legacy fundraising is

  • Describe the different types of legacy gifts

  • Explain how to engage with donors and build long-lasting relationships with supporters
