Simple, practical and effective, Action Learning is a powerful tried and tested approach. These sessions will enable you to:

  • Reflect on your way forward and learn from others

  • Unpack and develop your ideas

  • Discuss challenging situations in a safe environment

Where do you turn to for support?

Being a leader can be a lonely, isolating or pressured position. Where do you go to for your sanity check and to test out your thinking or ideas? Joining like-minded peers to discuss ideas and challenges might be the answer.

Funding and eligibility

The programme is open to all Hertfordshire voluntary organisations that provide adult social care services. We also have limited funding available for Hertfordshire voluntary organisations supporting children's and youth services.

All places on the programme will be fully funded by HCF Training & Development and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, with priority given to organisations that have not taken part in Building Effectiveness or Better Boards previously.
