Soft skills (part 1)

Soft skills are the superpower for managers of productive, motivated and successful remote/hybrid teams.

We are going to explore why soft skills are a management and business metric. Learn some tips and tactics for applying them in the real world, but more than that, you will change your thinking about soft skills.

Soft skills (part 2)

Soft skills often appear at the bottom of a list of essential management skills, and yet, without them, trust, staff retention and loyalty are jeopardised.

We will be questioning what is normal and going over tales, tips and tactics. We will also be looking at showing you how soft skills are your competitive edge.

Trust and productivity

What managers need to know about the connection between trust and productivity. Building trust is a business metric, but it requires empathy, kindness and great communication; just for starters.

We will look at why open and accessible management makes a difference to hybrid/ remote workers, autonomy versus absent managers and how you maintain high levels of productivity and motivation in distributed teams.

Managing people and culture in the modern working environment

Organisation culture pre-pandemic is different to where we are now. Ignoring that will lead to low morale, high levels of staff turnover and a whole world of pain if left to fester.

In this session we will cover overworked teams and how this, as well as not respecting downtime, is a threat. We will show you why you should encourage positive socialising, and teams' flexitime/ core hours.
